The industry-leading TriStar MPPT with TrakStar Technology is an advanced maximum power point tracking controller for larger off-grid photovoltaic (PV) energy systems up to 4.2kWp. Extremely high reliability due to robust thermal design, conformally coated printed circuit boards and extensive electronic protections inc.: overload; short circuit; high voltage; high temperature; lightning & transient surges; nightime reverse current. Peak efficiency of 99% using TrakStar MPPT Technology to maximise the PV energy harvest by rapidly finding the solar array peak power point with extremely fast sweeping of the entire I-V curve.
Can be used with solar arrays with a maximum open circuit voltage of 150 VDC and battery systems of 12, 24, 36 or 48 VDC.
Capable of continuous operation at full power at up to 45°C without need to de-rate. Remote temperature sensor is included and optional displays are available. The TS-MPPT-60 includes on-board Ethernet interface & up to 200 days of data logging.
Optional LCD digital backlit display (included with -M version) provides system & controller information: battery voltage; current; temperature; amp-hours and error mode. Versions mount either on face of the controller or remotely.
