Photovoltaic solar panels with a rigid aluminium frame and a glass front are the best known and most widely used format. Our rigid pv solar panels are available in 12V and 24V, and in polycrystalline, monocrystalline and amorphous technologies. We supply solar panels from all the main manufacturers such as Sharp, Kyocera, Suntech and Yingli, and we are proud to be distributors for ICP and Inprosolar. At higher wattages (100W or more) and voltages these panels are typically used for grid connected building applications. In the mid-low wattage range (up to 80W or so), rigid solar panels are widely used for leisure and professional applications involving 12 volt battery charging. Typical off-grid applications include repeater stations, electric fencing, remote monitoring and tracking systems.
