Solarfun & Hanwha SolarOne

Solarfun, or rather Solarfun Power Holdings, was a Chinese manufacturer of low cost pv solar panels.  

Taken over by Hanwha Group in 2010 and renamed as Hanwha SolarOne, it is now a global top class renewable energy company listed on NASDAQ (HSOL).

To raise its profile the company partnered with two European football clubs (that's soccer for those of you across the Atlantic).  You may have heard of the teams - Hamburg SV and Bolton Wanderers.
