Lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) is the safest of the mainstream li-ion battery types. A 12,8V LFP battery consists of 4 cells connected in series; and a 25,6V battery consists of 8 cells connected in series.
The main benefits of this battery type is high charging efficiency, compact and light power and almost all power stored is available to use, up to 95% depth of discharge is recommended.
This range of highly efficient batteries varies from 60Ah up to 200Ah. The size and amount of batteries required would be based on the application, 60Ah for smaller systems such as lighting and the 200Ah for larger systems such as a small workshop, domestic solar storage etc.
